Range Director:

Eye and Hearing protection are REQUIRED.

The Utility Range is the fourth pit on the right as you enter the "Bullet Side" of the Club. The Utility Range is a short distance range with target boards at 25 and 50 yards. It is for shooting open sight rifles, black powder firearms, and other firearm configurations which are too powerful to shoot in the pistol pits.

There are six wooden benches under a shelter for shooting from a rest. However, there is no fixed firing line. You may shoot from shorter distances as long as your shots go into the back berm.

No Rimfire weapons and No Shotguns are allowed on the Utility Pit. The Rimfire Ranges are to the left of the Utility Range. (Shotguns may be patterned on the Pattern Board at the far end of the Skeet Range parking lot.)

You may also use this range to "sight-in" scoped rifles.

The Utility Range is CLOSED during scheduled Pistol Matches, usually the 3rd Saturday of the month, until about 1:00 P.M.

Place ALL spent cartridge cases in the buckets provided. If you do not want yours, there are others who will be happy to get them. This includes brass, aluminum and steel cases.
