Centerfire Pistol Range:

The Pistol Range has 3 pistol pits for centerfire handgun use ONLY (no rimfire and no pistol caliber carbines.) Backer boards are supplied for paper targets. The club provides a Dueling Tree, a Plate Rack and a Whirly Gig or Texas Star which are steel targets. As an added benefit, RCGC offers Concealed Carry Handgun classes at a reduced rate for members and their families.

Utility Range:

The Utility Range is a short distance range with target boards at 25 and 50 yards. It is for shooting open sight rifles, pistol caliber carbines, black powder firearms, and other firearm configurations which are too powerful to shoot in the pistol pits. You may also use this range to "sight-in" scoped rifles. There are three concrete benches under a shelter for shooting from a rest. No Rimfire weapons and No Shotguns are allowed on the Utility Pit.

Rimfire Range:

The Rimfire Range has 25 yd and 50 yd target boards with 10 covered benches. This range is for rimfire rifles and pistols ONLY. No centerfire weapons are allowed on the Rimfire Range. This range has several reactive targets set up at 25 yds. and 50 yds. We recently added a Plinking Pit for .22 pistols and short range rifle shooting. This pit contains a shelter with picnic tables, shooting benches, two target boards, and a number of reactive targets.

Rifle Range:

The Rifle Range has 100 yd and 200 yd target boards with 20 covered benches. There is a 30' x 80' loading and cleaning shelter with a concrete floor.  We have limited RV parking with electrical hook-ups, no water. The RV parking is for registered matches only. Camping is not allowed on club property, except during registered matches.

Trap Range:

We have 6 operational Trap fields. Trap number 6 is a wobble trap. Registered ATA matches and Fun Shoots (Lewis Class) are held monthly. We have Canterbury voice releases for each field plus state-of-the-art ERAD voice releases for competitions. Food is provided at registered shoots. There is an air conditioned stat house with attached open air shelter. Instruction is available for new shooters.

Skeet Fields:

RCGC has three Skeet fields with cinder block trap houses. We use Laporte model 185 traps. Our fields are some of the finest in the South with an open background, shade trees, and benches for the shooter's comfort. We provide a covered shelter with raised deck and picnic tables at each field. Food is provided at registered shoots. There is an air conditioned stat house. Instruction is available for new shooters. The shotgun pattern board is located on this range at the far end of the parking lot, beyond the last fence.
